Gazek (CE)

The Great Destroyer

Gazek the God of War and Magma. He relishes the tide of battle and the chaos it brings. He seems to ooze a rage inducing haze, causing even the most peace and loving person to take up arms. His followers constantly fight to prove their honor and strength. Often prayed to on the battlefield, his followers are regularly soldiers or Orcs. His churches are set up like arenas for weekly bouts, and are normally equipped with Armories.

Relations:

-Obeys Balmoth (mostly)

-Likes to hang out with Geth when his Mom isn't around to ruin their fun

Scripture:

While possessing no scripture, those who go to war in The Brutalist's name perform a complex battle chant to the beat of drums and feet. It is designed to fire up the blood, and draw Gazeck's attention to the conflict.

Heralds:

The Volcano is considered to be the voice of Gazeck. His clerics spend much of their time studying its rumbles and geysers for signs from their god. Its eruption is a sure sign of great change and bloodshed in their future.

Curse/Blessings:

-Gazeck shows his will in the sharpness of weapons and victory in battle.

-He shows displeasure when weapons rust or break unexpectedly.

Obedience

Dress yourself in the heaviest set of armor you own. Shout your oath of loyalty to Gazek at the top of your lungs, punctuating each pause for breath by smashing your weapon against a shield or against your armor-clad body. After your oath is done, kneel on one knee with your weapon resting against your shoulder. Recite your victories in battle in a sonorous voice, If you should be attacked while conducting your obedience, slay the creature who dared test your might. (You may be assisted by allies, but you must strike the killing blow.) Gain a +4 profane bonus on Strength checks and Strength based skill checks.

Evangelist

1: Battlefield Veteran

Remove Fear 3/day

Wartrained Mount 2/day

Fireball 1/day

2: Destructive Spell: By calling on the thrill-inducing rage of Gazeck, you gain the ability to deal terrific damage with your spells. You can use this ability when casting a spell that deals hit point damage and has a casting time of 1 standard action or less. You can choose to cast the spell as a full-round action to gain a +4 bonus to its save DC. In addition, you treat all 1s rolled on your damage dice for the spell as 2s instead.

3: The Destroyer's Gifts: You feel the touch of a Monsterous presence at the corner of your mind, as if something hungry and hateful had taken root and now holds a measure of dominion over your thoughts. You gain an extra spell slot of the highest spell level you can cast. If you prepare spells, you can prepare one spell in this spell slot every day from the Chaos or Destruction domain spell lists. You may choose any spell from the lists even if you are an arcane spellcaster, and you can change this spell selection every time you prepare spells. If you are a spontaneous spellcaster, you can cast one spell from either of the domain spell lists as if it was on your known spells list. You can cast this spell only once per day, though you can choose a different spell to cast each time you regain your spells for the day.

Exalted

1: Flame Heart

Burning Hands 3/day

Flames of the Faithful 2/day

Rage 1/day

2: Bestow Destructive Smite: You can bestow the Destruction domain’s destructive smite granted power upon an ally. As a standard action, you can spend one use of your destructive smite to grant its power to any ally within 30 feet, channelling into him the erratic force of Rovagug’s rage. Your ally must make the destructive smite within 1 round of being granted the power or its use is wasted. Your ally uses your level to calculate the power of the destructive smite. If you don’t have access to the Destruction domain, you instead gain access to the destructive smite granted power but only for your personal use, as normal.

3: Awaken Flames: With a roar to Gazek, flames take on lives of their own. Once per day as a standard action, you can call forth an elder magma elemental from any flame source. Alternatively, you can activate this ability as a swift action while you cast a spell with the fire descriptor, causing an elder magma elemental to manifest in a space adjacent to you. The elemental appears immediately, and you can direct its actions as a free action via telepathy. The elemental is considered called, not summoned, and remains your minion for 1 hour. Unlike a normal elemental, this elder magma elemental is chaotic evil in alignment and has the Chaotic and Evil subtypes

Sentinel

1: Unstoppable

Enlarge person 3/day

Fire Breath 2/day

Deadly juggernaut 3/day

2: Volcanic Burst: Once per day as a swift action, you can cause all creatures within 15 feet of you to catch fire (DC = 10 + 1/2 your Hit Dice + your Charisma modifier, Reflex negates); they burn for 1 minute or until the flames are extinguished. Each round that they’re on fire, affected creatures take an additional 1d6 points of fire damage per 6 Hit Dice you have (maximum 4d6). If you begin your turn within 15 feet of a creature taking damage from this ability, you gain fast healing 10 for 1 round.

3: Devout Rage: You enter an unholy frenzy whenever you rage. You gain a +2 profane bonus on your attack and damage rolls and gain the Diehard feat, while raging,. If you don’t have the rage class feature, you can fly into a rage once per day as the rage spell, though you don’t need to concentrate. Instead, the rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Hit Dice or until you choose to end it, whichever comes first.
